Description:
At the beginning of Ogu and the Secret Forest, you won’t have much to make it a breeze to overcome obstacles, just the ability to run as fast as your furry legs go, and a bug net to swing around. True, this makeshift weapon will do the job when it comes to trash monsters and grass needing cutting, but there are many abilities and items you’ll need to locate all of the important pieces and bops you need to succeed.
It’s a very deliberate art style, out of the realm of the typical indie platformer that’s pixel-art, and it feels like it’s hand-painted. The combination of lush foliage, vibrant color palettes, and intricately detailed character models all contribute to a sense of immersion and wonder.
Ogu and the Secret Forest NSP Key Features:
- Expansive Open Exploration: A huge world, more than 300 maps have been linked together to create various themed environments in the ocean, snow field, desert, and lush forests.
- Fun and Unique Puzzles: Solve a variety of puzzles, from old block pushing to new environment-based puzzles, using items you’ve collected and creative thinking.
- Collectathon & Progression: Explore dungeons to collect magical stones and sigils to unlock new powers to allow you to access dungeons you were previously unable to access in a Metroidvania-like loop.
- Relaxing Side Activities: Step away from saving the world and join in fun hobbies such as cooking to the music, bug catching, fishing and farming.
- Increase customization: Dress up baby Ogu in a variety of cute hats and face masks, some of which give passive skills.
