Basketball video game NBA 2K24 was created by 2K and Visual Concepts Austin and released in 2023. It is based on the National Basketball Association (NBA), and is the 25th entry in the NBA 2K series, which follows NBA 2K23 and precedes NBA 2K25. It was released on September 8th, 2023 for Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One & Xbox Series X/S. The NBA 2K24 Arcade Edition is available on iOS, macOS and tvOS via Apple Arcade on October 24, 2023 and the online servers for the game were closed on December 31, 2025.

• Technology (New Gen Only)This groundbreaking technology directly converts real NBA game footage to in-game animation and movements. This creates the most realistic player likenesses, signature jump shots and on-court movement.
• Featuring the remembrance of Kobe Bryant, this mode enables players to be able to replicate some of the most dominating and iconic performances of his career, taking him from the young athletic phenom to one of the all-time great players.
• SupportCrossplay is available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This lets friends team up or compete against one another, significantly decreasing matchmaking times and also queue queues.
• Here is the popular mode with a new and slimmer reputation system, the City. Players have two Affiliations to choose from: ELITE (neon-lit, futuristic) or RISE (aquatic, Poseidon-inspired). It also has a 1v1 Starting 5 mode and Streetball single player side quests.
• The card collecting mode is back with a new Salary Cap mode, where players must think creatively and put together different rosters. Also, XP is now linked to MyCAREER so that you get rewards for playing any mode of the game.
